India’s Got Talent Season 4 started with a bang in the month of September, 2012. With a whole new set of offerings, the fourth season of the reality show competition was sure to create buzz among the audience. The show, like always, witnessed unprecedented performances and new kinds of talent, never seen before.
New Judges Panel and Hosts
The show was judged by Kirron Kher and iconic director, Karan Johar throughout its broadcast. Model turned actor, Mallaika Arora Khan judged its auditions round only to be replaced by Farrah Khan. The diverse background of the judges made the show more interesting as they critically analyzed the showcased talent. This season also witnesses another change in hosts where Manish Paul and Cyrus Sahukar replaces earlier season hosts Gautam Rode & Meiyang Chang.

India’s Got Talent played host to diverse performances and a bunch of various talented participants. The finalist of the show were: Biwas Dance Group (Winners), Deep Raj (Singer), Tanya and Mukesh (Dancers), Nitish Bharti (Sand Artist), Toshan Singh Nongbet (Opera Singer), Acrobatic Boys (Acrobatics), Ocean Kids (Group Dance), Shiraz Irani (Belly Dancer), Margam Dance(Group Dance), Silhouette Squad, Chanchal Bharti (Qawwali Singer), Diplav Cultural Dance Group (Dance Group), and Talent Scan Dance Academy (Group Dance).
The Winner of India’s Got Talent 4It was the spectacular performance of Maraju Sumanth (13) and Sonali Majumdar (7) that made duo win the fourth season of India’s Got Talent. The two young stars belonged to BAD Salsa Group, the same group that emerged as a Runner-Up in Season 3. The young duo was known for their electric dance moves. The child prodigies later appeared in a host of other dancing reality shows where they were equally acclaimed for their performances. They took home the grand prize of Rs. 50 lakhs along with a Maruti Alto car.
A Sufi Sensation
Deepraj Raj, only 11 years, emerged as the Runner-Up of India’s Got Talent Season 4. In his golden voice, Deepraj mesmerized the audience with his sufi songs. He hailed from Sikkim.
A True Grand Finale
The performances at the finale of India’s Got Talent Season 4 varied from aerial acts by Mukesh and Tanaya to sophisticated gymnastics by the Acrobatic Boys. Toshan sung in his characteristic Opera style as sand artist, Nitish Bharti captivated the viewers with his intricate designs and images. Ocean Kids too danced at the finals.
A Big Platform for the Young
India’s Got Talent Season 4 provided a huge platform to young and talented participants to showcase their talent to the world. For Sonali, who comes from a modest background, the money would prove to be greatly beneficial. Their win would also give them a deserving shot-in-the-arm to prove their talent internationally.
