Highest TRP Ratings
India’s Got Talent, the nation’s favourite reality-show, commenced from July, 2011. Its popularity is manifest from the TRP ratings it received: the highest ever. The show garnered an average TRP rating of 3.91, a remarkable feat for any reality show. It was the opening show of the season, honored by actor, Dharmendra that fetched the soaring high rating.
The New Judges and Hosts
In addition to the previous two judges of India’s Got Talent, Kirron Kher and Sonali Bendre, veteran actor Dharmendra replaced Sajjid Khan as a new judge. There were changes in the hosts too. Ayushmaan Khurana and Nikhil Chinappa were replaced by singer Meiyang Chang and model Gautam Rode.
Winners of India’s Got Talent 3It was Suresh and Vernon Group’s electrifying performances that captivated the audience and made them win India’s Got Talent Season 3. The group were known for performing dangerous stunts while dancing. Suresh and Vernon Group had previously appeared in top 10 in Season 2 of the show under the title: the Fictitious Group. The group gave a spell-binding performance in the final in front of actor Shahrukh Khan who too didn’t mince words in praising for the group. Their hard work and perseverance finally paid off as they walked away with the cash-prize of Rs. 50 lakhs.
A Magical Rendezvous
At the grand finale were present a host of other supremely talented performers. Magician Kuddroli Ganesh from Mangalore captivated the audience with his magic. From simple card tricks to sophisticated tricks such as levitation, cabinet escapes and dismemberment; the audience bit their nails at his virtuosity.
Present at the finals were a group of dancers who went by the stage-name of BAD Salsa. The group from Kolkata swayed to the foot-tapping salsa music as the viewers couldn’t help but wonder at their flexibility.
Vikas Naik from Bangalore held the audience in rapt attention as they wondered in awe the sophisticated dexterity of the canvas-painter. He displayed his love for legendary cricketer Sachin Tendulkar by his painting of the cricketer on canvas.
Hip Hop Dancers
India’s Got Talent Season 3 also saw the flexible dance moves of Sanjay Dhaka from Jaipur. A professional dancer, Sanjay enthralled the viewers with his dancing steps in hip-hop.
India’s Got Talent’s stage was also shared by a band of talented musicians who collectively referred themselves as the Madhavas Group. The rock band specialized in spiritual songs while giving it a hint of rock music. They hailed from Chandigarh.
